The 4WD version offers the choice of three different transmission modes. On normal sealed roads in dry conditions, the 2WD mode optimises the 4008’s excellent fuel ef ciency. Navigating dirt roads or driving in heavy rain? Switch to the automatic 4WD mode and the system will distribute torque between the front and rear axles to maximise traction. Driving in snow, heading off-road into sand dunes or muddy elds? Select the 4WD Lock mode and you’ll be in permanent all-wheel drive with 50/50 front to rear torque distribution.

The front seats of the Peugeot 4008 are adjustable for length, height and tilt. The rear passengers are also well cared for, with a tilt-adjustable rear seat back. One touch is all it takes to split the rear seats 2/3-1/3, fold them and free up a very large load space.
